A tall multi-panel comic. Panel 1, captioned "The great alien beast appeared in the night sky," shows a huge green one-eyed tentacled alien hovering over a dark hilly horizon. Panel 2, captioned "The heads of state quickly reached a consensus," shows leaders around a table; one says, "It looks evil. Ipso facto, it's evil." Panel 3, captioned "Against the foreign foe, Earth united," shows missiles marked with many national flags. Panel 4, captioned "Our entire nuclear arsenal was exhausted in hours," shows a barrage of missiles streaking across the sky. Panel 5, captioned "But somehow... the missiles passed through it," shows the alien with a green splatter as the missiles pass harmlessly through. Panel 6, captioned "At which point a masked man gave a press conference," shows a masked man at a podium saying, "There was no monster. It was an illusion, a deception. But now that we are rid of these horrible weapons, true peace may begin!" In the next panels, a person reading papers asks, "So... nations can attack each other with no risk of thermonuclear annihilation?" and the masked man can only reply, "Uh..." The final panel is a newspaper headline reading "ALL COUNTRIES INVADE EACH OTHER AT ONCE."
