In the scene, a man with brown hair gestures angrily with an open hand and shouts, "You threw my cat out the window! Why the hell would you do that?!" A red-haired woman smiles calmly and replies, "To-may-to to-mah-to" (the saying about pronouncing 'tomato' two different ways, used here to brush off the question). Votey (aftercomic, black-and-white): The woman keeps going, saying "Po-tay-to po-tah-" when the man cuts her off, shouting in distress, "My cat is dead!" The joke: she deflects a serious accusation with meaningless 'it's all the same' truisms while he's genuinely upset.
