Myth

A four-panel SMBC comic. A man with bright red, flame-like hair stands talking to a glowing, radiant ball of light (the "world-spirit"). Panel 1: The man asks, "Hey, world-spirit, are there universal myths all human cultures shared, going back to the beginning?" The light answers, "Yessss..." Panel 2: The light says, "In any culture, if you wait long enough, three stories will appear." Panel 3: The light lists them in glowing centered text: "Animals like being eaten. Women like being subservient. You will never die." Panel 4: The man, looking thoughtful, says, "Wow. I thought for sure it was gonna be all gods and heroes and stuff."
