A black-and-white comic in which two cartoon spiders converse. In the first panel a male spider says, "Baby, if it's okay with you I'd like to detach my phallus after we copulate in order to deny access to future mates." The female spider replies, "Honestly that feels a little possessive." She adds, "I guess I just see our relationship as a serious one." In the final panel the male spider, looking deflated, says, "Also, like, this thing just pops off after sex. Evolution sucks," and a caption reads "EVOLUTION SUCKS" — the joke being that what sounded like a romantic gesture is just an involuntary biological quirk. In the votey panel, a close-up of the male spider's face, he says, "Still better than that ape thing where they stare at each other while doing it," a wry jab at human sex.
