A dark living room lit by a TV. On the screen, a blue-and-red caped superhero stands at a podium beside a man in a suit, giving a speech: "Sure I save the world from time to time, but the real superheroes are the working men - the people who show up every day to put food on the table to feed their families." An unseen viewer in the dark room responds in a speech bubble, "That's... that's so beautiful..." A caption below reads: "Lex Luthor had a much easier time killing all the 'real' superheroes." The joke: the superhero's well-meaning praise of ordinary working people has, by redefining them as the "real" superheroes, painted a target on every regular human. Votey (aftercomic): a grinning bald man, implied to be Lex Luthor, holds up a hand dripping with blood and gleefully says, "They're so squishy!"
