A seven-panel SMBC comic riffing on the classic banana/orange knock-knock joke. In the first three panels, an off-panel voice says "Knock knock," a man answers "Who's there?", the voice says "Banana," and the man asks "Banana who?" with no punchline. In the fourth panel the same exchange begins but the voice answers "Orange" instead of "Banana." The fifth panel shows a closed door bearing a sign that reads "BANANA IS DEAD," with a small orange character (an orange with stick arms and legs) standing beside it. In the sixth panel the man says, "We used to come here a lot. I don't know why he had so many secrets. He's gone now." In the final panel the orange says "Go," and the man replies, "I'm making ARRANGEMENTS for his funeral." The joke recasts the knock-knock setup as a story where Banana has died and Orange is mourning. Votey: The orange character stands alone with its head bowed in grief, saying, "Orange you glad he's finally at peace?"
