It's like saying multiplication is calculating the area of a square or addition is when you put fingers next to each other!" Panel 4: she turns away annoyed, saying "Good day, sir," and he calls after her, "If you want sex, learn to generalize!" The joke is the man ruining the come-on by being a mathematics pedant.
